Excuses, excuses

redlightpress wrote me this excuse note:

Dear $Boss$,
Merely excusing messy_hair_girl from her professional duties will not be sufficient today, as you appear to have overlooked the immense talent of the aforementioned messy-haired one and must now pay for this oversight. While mortals like you must struggle under the yoke of corporate leadership, others in our midst have greater aspirations -- aspirations that you have so rudely tried to squelch by depriving messy_hair_girl of Internet access. One day, this star blogger will soar above you while you (literally) struggle your way out of numerous smelly paper bags. Don't say you haven't been warned.
